Foundation Director Emeritus Dorothy Krone 1925-2015

The Foundation joins her family and friends in mourning the loss of Foundation director emeritus Dorothy Krone.  She succeeded her late husband Paul Krone as a board member in 1995 and served until moving to emeritus status in 2005. A memorial service was held Jan. 17 at Knox Presbyterian Church in Hyde Park.  (1/18/2015)

Grant Helps Children Dealing with Cancer

The Dater Foundation's support of Cancer Support Community was recently recognized in an article in Hyde Park Living.  The Foundation made a  $10,000 grant to support the organization's programs in 2014.and has now made grants totaling $122,000 since its first grant in 2000.

Inter Parish Ministry’s Jubilee Celebration

The good work of Inter Parish Ministry was featured in a recent Cincinnati Enquirer article. A Jubilee Celebration is April 6, 2014.  One of the Dater Foundation’s first grants was to Inter Parish in 1986.  The Foundation has made 22 grants totaling $239,000 and most recently has supported the Mobile Pantry Program.

Josh Cares Commits $1 Million to CCHMC

Josh Cares and its supporters were recognized by Cincinnati Children's recently for having given $1 million in support of the Josh Cares Child Life Program since its inception nine years ago. Josh Cares plans to contribute an additional $1million within the next four years.  The Dater Foundation has made seven grants totaling $230,000 since 2006. (11/6/2013)
