Financial Education and Career Readiness
Since 1919, Junior Achievement USA has been empowering students to own their economic success by providing them with the tools they need to succeed in a global economy. Junior Achievement’s programs, both in and out of the classroom, prepare students for their futures with opportunities focused on financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship. During the 2018-2019 school year, Junior Achievement of OKI Partners, Inc. brought its programming to over 42,000 students in southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Eastern Indiana. These students participated in JA lessons in their classrooms, went on field trips to local businesses through JA Job Shadow, or attended JA Inspire, a career expo where they learned about jobs in high growth industries in Greater Cincinnati. The support of the Dater Foundation helped Junior Achievement of OKI Partners, Inc. bring this curricula to almost 900 students in the Greater Cincinnati area.
