Don’t Trash My 'Nati Litter Prevention Program

Keep Cincinnati Beautiful’s education, revitalization, and environmental initiatives build community and foster pride in the places where residents live, work, and play.  A grassroots network of neighbors, sponsors, and volunteers puts passion to work creating safer, cleaner spaces, and a higher quality of life for everyone who calls Greater Cincinnati home.  The Environmental Education program connects children with the environment to help them build personal responsibility for their community.  KCB coordinates with underserved schools in the Greater Cincinnati area to provide: assemblies, classroom presentations, service learning, and field trips at no cost.  Often the free programs are the only experiential learning a student participates in because many schools do not have funding for field trips or outside presenters.  In the 2017-18 school year, over 25,000 students were engaged and helped to realize that they play an important role in protecting the environment.
