Connecting Families with Basic Needs ... Food Pantry
The Inter Parish Ministry Food Pantry serves to improve the lives of food insecure families living in eastern Hamilton, western Brown and Clermont counties. With the ongoing support of the Dater Foundation, IPM is able to provide over 350,000 pounds of food and personal care items each year to those in need. Last year, a Dater granted allowed IPM to add healthier food choices including dairy, eggs and fresh produce. The grant also supported 12 mobile pantries at various locations throughout the community, bringing much needed food closer to clients that depend on IPM. In addition, the grant enabled IPM to enhance its client cooking classes by providing free biometric testing and education to clients. Clients reported healthier lifestyle changes that resulted in improved health measurements like lower blood pressure and weight loss.
