CASA University

Grant Application:

ProKids is requesting a grant from the Dater Foundation to increase the capacity of CASA University, our volunteer recruitment and training program. Through CASA University, ProKids recruits and trains Court Appointed Special Advocates, known as CASA Volunteers, to passionately and persuasively advocate on behalf of the best interest of abused and neglected children in Hamilton County’s child protection system and guide them into a safe, permanent, and nurturing where they can thrive. Our goal is for 350 ProKids CASA Volunteers to serve 1,200 children in 2021. However, more and more children are pouring into the system every day. An increased grant of $100,000 will allow us to scale our efforts to reach even more children, sooner, fundamentally changing the future for each child and for our entire community.

 Goals/Objectives:
