CISV Villages are international camps that inspire eleven-year-old children to imagine a more just and peaceful world. Each Village welcomes delegations from 10-12 countries. Each delegation has two boys and two girls, accompanied by an adult leader. The camp is coordinated by adult staff, supported by Junior Counselors (age 16-17). Early life experiences shape the way we see the world. CISV Villages bring children together to take part in educational, cultural and fun activities that have been designed especially to appeal to them at this key learning stage. A Village creates a safe setting in which children from around the world can learn about each other’s lives and how to communicate, cooperate and live together. The Village learning experiences, and the friendships made, are for a lifetime. The young age of the participants, the length of the program, and the international aspect make this program distinctive when compared to those offered by similar – local, national or international - organizations.

2022 is the first year in which we have been able to host programs since 2019, due to the COVID 19 pandemic. The New World, New Beginning Village will welcome 32 participants (age 11-12), 8 junior counselors, and 8 adult leaders from 8 North and South American countries to Cincinnati.
