This will be eleventh year of Summer Bridge Program. This program focuses on transitioning surrounding elementary school students to high school. Its goal is to familiarize incoming seventh graders with the expectations of Gilbert A. Dater High School: academics, culture and grade level structure. This allows students to start the year acclimated to their surroundings. It reduces students' anxiety and stress. The skills taught in summer bridge will be reinforced and carried in their Momentum/IB Design Course starting in August 2022. The course emphasizes on social emotional learning and growth mindset.
