ScoutReach is the Council's outreach program for our most at-risk and disadvantaged youth (boys and girls) in under-served neighborhoods and communities. To serve these youths, program specialists deliver traditionally based Scouting programming to schools (in-school and after-school) and other partner organizations. ScoutReach programming provides youth access to positive role models and mentors. The structure, nationally published handbooks, and individualized choices of the ScoutReach program focuses on the acquisition of skills and competencies necessary for success in school and life; and addresses some of society's most pressing issues impacting our youth.

Program goals:

* To provide enrichment programs to 3,000 at at-risk and disadvantaged youth in the counties we serve.

Program Objectives:

* To provide fully-trained program managers who provide leadership and guide participants within the program.

* Each participant will receive program uniforms, handbook, program materials, and earned badges free of charge. 

* 360 of youth will earn the Bobcat badge.

* 300 of youth will participate in “Challenge Camp” at Cub World in Loveland, OH (Outdoor activities such as archery, fishing, sports, swimming, and more.) 

* Scout Skills Day (an opportunity to learn new skills and showcase other that have been learned)

* Spook-O-Ree (Halloween themed event)

* Scout Swim Day 

* Pinewood Derby

* Fishing Derby
