7th Grade Summer Bridge & 7th Grade Momentum Class
Momentum’ Summer Bridge & School, now in its 11th year, is a program that focuses on the transition of 6th graders into 7th grade at Gilbert Dater High School. Its goal is to familiarize incoming seventh graders with the school, its academics, culture, and structure. This allows them to start the year already acclimated to the expectations, having worked through all the hurdles that a new school can bring. With the ‘Momentum’ Elective class now required of all 7th grade students, the ideas and focuses of the Summer Bridge program are carried into the academic year for further educational and social-emotional development of the students.
