Day of Hope 2021
The Faith Alliance Coalition Team is made up of six Churches, (St. Leo the Great Church, Changing Lives Ministries, Galilee Baptist Church, President Drive Church of Christ, and First Baptist Church of Cumminsville, Willing Spirit Baptist Church), a Property Manager (Villages at Roll Hill), the President of the North Fairmount Community Counsel, a liaison for the Cincinnati Police Department, and Cincinnati Urban Ministries Outreach. The Coalition has been We in existence for ten years and have been a self-funded organization for those years. It serves the, North Fairmount, South Fairmount, and South Cumminsville areas. The typical Day of Hope is a live community celebration of the return of young people to school. As in 2020, a drive-in event was held in 2021 for safety precautions from the Covid virus. Back to school supplies were distributed and a post-event distribution of winter coats was also accomplished.
