Enrichment, and Educational Support for Families Experiencing Homelessness
This program will allow 24
children in 2021 and 24 children in 2022 to have high quality care and
enrichment activities during their shelter stay, and continuity in homeless
service aftercare to deliver key supports for education and personal success.
This program enables single mothers to work, go to vital appointments, and take
advantage of opportunities that will lead to economic independence and
stability for their families. It offers children opportunities to connect with
caring adults, have meaningful engagement, and develop as whole people during a
trying and stressful period of their lives. We step in to support kids in
places of both necessity and joy, to alleviate the financial pressure on
low-income single moms as they work to pay for their basic needs.
