Kids Get Arthritis Too
When it comes to serving children with juvenile arthritis and other childhood rheumatic diseases, the Arthritis Foundation is determined to make sure families have easy access to life-changing resources, community and care. The juvenile arthritis community faces unique challenges and families look to the Arthritis Foundation for support on topics such as medications, meals, symptoms and school issues. Annually the organization reaches thousands of children and their families, who access educational programs, resources, networking opportunities and activities. Educational and support programs include JA Day, JA National Conference scholarships, and Fall Family Camp held at Camp Joy. Also available is a JA Power Pack, a toolkit with useful information and support to assist newly-diagnosed children and teens, as well as their parents.
