NEXT Program
Square1 works to uncover, educate, support, and inspire emerging entrepreneurs and leaders. Square1 delivers the NEXT program at Greater Cincinnati middle and high schools throughout the school year.
NEXT is a youth development program that helps local high school students plan for their futures, and develop key professional skills by teaching them to apply the skills and mindset of an entrepreneur to all aspects of life. NEXT challenges students to develop a viable business plan, and guides students through the business formation process from start to finish, teaching valuable professional lessons along the way. In addition to teaching marketable skills, the curriculum provides students with impactful opportunities that they may not otherwise have access to such as networking events, career planning guidance, and mentorship. The skills and opportunities provided by NEXT help students realize their potential, and plan for their futures. With support of a Dater Foundation grant, NEXT expanded to more schools and reached nearly 200 new students in the 2019-2020 school year.
