Music Education Programs for Teens
The Music Resource Center Cincinnati is a multifaceted teen center providing music education programs to the Walnut Hills community for over a decade. For just $2 per month, teens can become members of the MRC and learn about music theory, studio recording, live performance, radio broadcasting, and more. The MRC works to mentor and guide underserved Cincinnati teens, inspiring, empowering, and celebrating their achievements. Thanks to the Dater Foundation, the MRC was able to sustain operations during the COVID-19 pandemic, using funds to support virtual programs, and has since been able to reopen. The MRC is back to serving over 200 teens through in/outreach programs and looks forward to welcoming back more MRC members in the fall of 2021.
