Peanut Butter & Jam Sessions
Linton Chamber Music is dedicated to bringing world-class chamber music concerts to audiences of all ages. Linton’s three distinct series -- Linton Chamber Music Series, Encore! Linton, and Peanut Butter and Jam Sessions -- engage audiences of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds with concerts throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.
Peanut Butter & Jam Sessions are informal concerts designed to give pre-school children and their families an interactive, educational, and fun introduction to classical music. A grant from the Dater Foundation supported the 2019-20 season of Peanut Butter & Jam Sessions concerts throughout Greater Cincinnati. When the pandemic forced the cancellation of PB&J events, the program was able to quickly pivot, creating and presenting over 50 online videos as part of its new Musical Mornings for young children in isolation at home. A new PB&J Outdoor Musical Adventure was also developed to provide summer family enrichment activities that met COVID-19 safety measures.
