All in @10 & Graduate Success Programs
DPCR serves students who aspire to go to college but whose families have limited financial means. Most will be first generation college students. DPCR’s “All in @10” is a four-year college readiness program that supports students and their families. Students are guided through a minimum of 10 college-readiness steps each of their four years at DPCR in conjunction with the school’s college-prep academic curriculum. The program includes ACT/SAT test preparation; school-sponsored college visits; individualized, goal-oriented face-to-face counselor meetings with students and parents; financial aid workshops and support; and more. As students move into and through college, DPCR also provides graduates financial, academic and emotional support through its innovative Graduate Success Program. The program has a full-time Graduate Success Director and a fund that offers micro-grants so students can overcome financial barriers to college completion. These small grants help college-enrolled DPCR alumni pay expenses left after all financial aid has been applied. With the Dater Foundation supporting these critical programs, every DPCR senior, every year, has been accepted to college. The rate of DPCR graduates who enroll in college immediately after high school is significantly higher than the national average for both low and all-income students.
