Ticket Transportation & Artists on Tour Subsidy Funds
The Ticket Transportation & Artists on Tour Subsidy Funds provide direct support to schools to bring students to performances at the Aronoff Center and Music Hall or to present performances by local artists in their own buildings. Schools complete a simple two page application submitted electronically and receive a reply within ten working days. The award criterion is based on the percentage of students receiving free or reduced lunch and is on a sliding scale allotting more funds as a percentage of students in need increases. This year the Dater Foundation grant helped the Subsidy Funds impact 32,882 persons through the distribution of just over $101,000 in funding for schools to engage in the arts.
