Community Outreach Programming for Youth
Baker Hunt has been providing art education in Covington for almost 100 years, and we are committed to providing art making experiences to everyone in our community. In recent years education has been taking the art out of STEAM. We frequently receive calls and emails from schools wanting us to provide art education for their students. In normal years we are schools’ campuses providing art clubs, community events and art camps. COVID 19 put a halt to most of that activity. We got creative and provided art education through videos that could be accessed by the students. We were able to reach more students than ever. More than 3,800 students have access to our videos each week. With the support of the Dater Foundation, we are changing lives through art.
