Family Performance and Activities Series
Families travel to Cincinnati from all over the world seeking life-saving treatment for the seriously ill children at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Cincinnati's Ronald McDonald House offers a community of compassion, support and the comforts of home to families with critically ill children, steps away from the medical care they need. Ronald McDonald House provides these families with a “home away from home” while their children battle some of life’s most devastating illnesses. A Family Performance and Activity Series provides families with a distraction or an escape from their worries, if only for a moment. The House hosts over 700 performances and activities annually with programming ranging from theatre performances and magicians to puppeteers and balloon twisters. Dater funding provided stipends for artists and performers and covered a portion of administrative costs.
