Roger L. Ruhl
Vice President and Director
Roger L. Ruhl was elected to the Foundation board of directors in December 2006. A native Cincinnatian, he graduated from St. Xavier High, attended Xavier University and completed his bachelor’s degree at West Virginia University, where he was sports information director while still an undergraduate. He served in the U.S. Army and was an infantry and information sergeant in Vietnam. He spent 13 years with the Cincinnati Reds where he was Vice President Marketing; three years with Hogan, Nolan & Stites, a Cincinnati marketing, advertising and public relations firm; and 13 years as Vice President of the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce. He established a marketing communications consultancy in 2000 providing marketing and public relations counsel and services to a limited number of small and mid-size clients. The practice is no longer active. He has served on the boards of the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Cincinnati Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Downtown Council (including two terms as president), Seven Hills Savings and Cornerstone Bank. He lives in the Cincinnati suburb of Montgomery.

The series provides welcome entertainment for guests staying at the House.
